Travel and Expense Management is excited to introduce a virtual payment travel card program that helps reduce out-of-pocket expenses for students and guests and is easy to add to a mobile wallet, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
The UC Merced Instant Card (UCM-IC) is a short-term payment option for UC Merced students and guests while on official university business travel. In some circumstances, the card may be used for employees who do not have access to their active Travel & Entertainment Card (T&E Card) or if a new T&E Card application cannot be processed in time to meet travel needs.
The UCM-IC features a firm dollar limit with specific active dates for use. Users can easily view the credit limit, active dates for use including the expiration date, and the 16-digit card number and security code needed to complete online transactions using the U.S. Bank Instant Card mobile app.
