Effective March 20, 2023, honorariums paid to individuals will be limited to $2,500 per calendar year. Payment requests that exceed $2,500 will be submitted automatically to Procurement to be processed as a Service Agreement.
To ensure compliance to UC Policy D-371-35 , honorarium requests will require:
- Confirmation of UC Merced Honorarium letter emailed to invited guest.
- Completion of the Speaker/Performer Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement.
