Effective June 23, 2025, all flight bookings in Business or First Class will require an additional layer of approval. Please plan travel accordingly, as this change may impact on the timing of your ticket purchase and approval process.
University travel should be booked in Economy Class. Exceptions for Business, First-Class, or Premium Economy may be considered under the following circumstances and must include appropriate documentation:
- It is the only class of service offered between two points.
- Economy class is more expensive or significantly more time-consuming.
- The itinerary includes overnight travel without adequate time for rest before official business begins.
- The traveler has a documented disability or medical condition that necessitates upgraded seating.
Higher level approvals must be obtained prior to booking.
