New Hire Intake Process

A new hire or rehire of the University of California, Merced must attend an "intake" appointment with UCM Payroll Services to complete all required paperwork on or before they begin performing services for the University.  

Departments (or their representative) are responsible for notifying UCM Payroll Services of the need to schedule the appointment with the new/rehired employee.  

As staff and academic employees have different intake needs, we have created two distinct intake forms for your use.
