Effective June 4, UC Merced is moving to a new instance of the Time Reporting System (TRS), hosted by UC Irvine. To support this transition, the current TRS will be unavailable after noon June 2. The new TRS will be available at 8 a.m. June 4.
Some things to keep in mind as we approach the “go-live” date.
- The first monthly timesheet submission using the new TRS is June 5 for May, pay period May 1-May 31.
- The first biweekly timesheet submission using the new TRS instance is for pay period May 31-June 13.
IMPORTANT: If you create a timesheet in the current TRS for May 2020 (monthly employees) or pay period May 31-June 13 (biweekly employees), the timesheet will not be processed. You will need to re-create these timesheets in the new TRS after go-live.
Historical timesheet information will transfer to the new TRS and any changes or adjustments to previously submitted timesheets can be completed there after go-live.
