Business & Financial Services is responsible for the campus' core business processes, provides leadership and strengthens support for sound and ethical practices at every administrative level.

The division's role is to guide and partner with administrative officials to assure that programs and practices improve accountability and control, implementing policies and procedures to ensure that the university is well managed and financially sound, and that faculty and staff comply with applicable laws and regulations while upholding the public trust.

The division is responsible for maintaining the University’s official book of records and conducting financial analysis of University programs. The department develops and recommends financial policies, strategies and plans; develops programs for meeting current and future needs of the University.

It is charged with University financial reporting to internal and external constituents, developing and maintaining controls, coordinating financial audits, and the developing and deploying of all financial system applications. BFS also ensures campus compliance with all University, State, and Federal rules and regulations concerning financial policies and procedures.
